Yearning for the Moors? Airbnb unveils Brontë-inspired West Yorkshire stays

 To inspire Wuthering-core travel, Airbnb has revealed its ultimate list of Brontë-inspired stays across West Yorkshire, as local hosts share their excitement at a boost in traction for the area, and travellers look to step into the wild romance and gothic atmosphere brought to life in Emerald Fennell’s “Wuthering Heights”.

As the backdrop to the thrilling new cinematic interpretation, West Yorkshire is fast becoming one of the UK’s most sought-after romantic destinations. Fuelled by the rise of ‘set-jetting’, Airbnb data shows UK Gen Z searches for stays in the region are up 25% since the beginning of February when the “Wuthering Heights” press tour began, compared to the same time period last year.¹ Meanwhile, searches for Airbnb stays in Haworth – the historic village where the Brontë sisters lived and wrote – have soared by more than 200% among UK guests this winter compared to last year.²

My family are 4th generation antique dealers and helped furnish the property. We incorporated a genuine Victorian brass bed that my father restored along with adding a number of period furniture including tables, chairs, mirror on a stand, chest of draws and paintings and books. Many guests comment on the décor which they love due to the authentic feel of the property.”
